Now that was cool! (actually very cold)

Did you find part 2? I want to see them get the boat back out of the water.

Ambitious gents.....

When we open holes in the ice for late season duck hunts, we cut/break the edge around chunks that are 10ftx10ft and then just push the whole chunk under the ice next to it.....we probably could've cut that path in an hour with a chain saw and a couple of push poles.

The trick to skiing in Dec and January is to find a stretch of river with enough current that it doesn't freeze....:D

I'm skipping the Polar Bear ski ride this year. My plate and screws might pop out of the frozen bones :)

It makes me feel a lot better seeing the old Doral going into the ice rather than the Mastercraft....

Where did ya ski? NW doesn't really lend itself to understanding your climate....

We are in NW Montana and just happy to have open water this time of year. Only the gates and one ball were out of the ice so it is free ski only for awhile.

I skied on New Years Eve and was complaining about 55 degree water and 65 degree air temps... I could not imagine skiing in water that had ice on it! Those guys are NUTS!!
