Got Flyboys in my Netflix queue. It's due out in January. The new James Bond movie kicks a$$. The best Bond movie in a long long time IMO. I like the fact that they did away with the ridiculous death rays, invisible cars, etc. of the previous films and concentrated on the characters.

Also in my queue: Talladega Nights, Superman Returns, and Click. Should I remove any of these?

Click wasnt anything special but the other 2 are great. I could watch Talladega Nights over and over, Superman was good too.

A great comedy will be coming out soon, filmed in Burnswick Georgia, "The Adventures of Pedro the Peacock". It's X-rated and filmed on location @ Skidog's house!

I'm into week one of four weeks at home after having hip surgery. Last week my brother came and hung out with me so we watched lots of guy movies......

Good re-watches included:

Casino
3 American Pie movies
Road Trip
Long Kiss Goodnight
Training Day
Major League
Bull Durham

I gotta say that Bull Durham is one of my favorites of all time.

Also watched Return To Paradise.....was slow but pretty good. Wouldn't rewatch that one, though. Doesn't live up to classic status.

Will add Fly Boys to my rental list.....

Keep the suggestions coming.

School Skier...see this thread for ideas others contributed for me.....

I finally got Talladega Nights and watched it last night. Hilarious! Much funnier than Old School IMO. Some of my favorite quotes:

Saying grace with the family: "Dear Lord Baby Jesus, I want to thank you for this wonderful meal, my two beautiful son's, Walker and Texas Ranger, and my Red-Hot Smokin' Wife, Carley"

Doing a commercial: "Hi. I'm Ricky Bobby. If you don't chew Big Red, then f*@K you."

Racetrack announcer talking about gay french driver: "Girard is sitting on the pole, which is a statement of fact and in no way a comment on his sexual orientation"

8p

Gay French Guy is Sacha Baron Cohen, who played Borat. Didnt realize it myself at first when watching Talladega Nights.

took the kids to see happy feet
STUPID film bent on indoctrinating youth into the religion that is environmentalism (but good animation)

also took them to santa clause 3 - it's as good as the other 2 and I am officially getting OLD... but the principal lady/ mrs claus still looks good

Also watched Rocky Balboa, not great not terrible. If you have watched all of the other ones its worth watching at least once.

I went to Matinee sp? to see Rocky today. It was ok. Hard to see a sixty year old man in the ring going at it with a 30 something heavywieght. Stalone actually had more muscle than the champ in the movie. He is in good shape for an older man. I think Stalone was having problems getting movie roles so he decided to close the Rocky series and make some cash doing it.

It is a feel good movie something we had with the first couple in this series.

"We Are Marshall" is a great family movie. Only problem is that the actor playing the coach was way off on his version of the true coach. Made more of himself then historical truth.

I just watched "Click" Sat. night. I thought it was pretty good. Worth it to see Kate Beckinsale. She is a fine looking woman. The movie had a few LOL moments too.

I'm thinking that was filmed in Chicago? I saw Vince Vaughn at Shedd Aquarium about the time they would be filming. He is one big boy! 6'5" maybe?

Saw "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" tonight. Funny - worth a rental but not a movie ticket. Luke Wilson was hilarious as the poor sucker with the psycho girlfriend who happens to have superhero powers. Every guy's nightmare! 8p

And another to rent and I know it's an oldy and alot of you won't recognize alot of the characters but "It's a MAD,MAD,MAD,MAD, World is hilarous and at the beginning when Jimmy Durante kicks the bucket literally an figurativly is just a start of what's to come. My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

Okay...I know this may be controversial, but...I loved "Borat". Definitely the funniest movie I have ever seen. Sasha Cohen leaves no social stone unturned. I thought I was going to need CPR while watching...I laughed so hard. I have recurring nightmares about the scene in the hotel bedroom!!

Warning...DO NOT watch this flick with kids in the room!
