The list of possibility are:

- Exeed marine
- ozen marine
- Mastercraft Montreal
- Ekski marine
- Koban marine
-The one you will suggest!!!( a gift will follow if select, please don't ask for a TT 07...!!!)

Hopefully, it will be easy to say it in French and English
Thanks in advance

North of the border marine?

You gotta get that Nautique word out of the name, even though it doesn't have anything to do with Correct Craft.

How about- Francais Canadien Inboards, Inc./ French Canadian Inboards, Inc.
Or Waterski Canada
Or Waterski Montreal
Or MasterCraft of Montreal

A Mastercraft dealership named "Nautique"? I see your problem. I'd vote for Mastercraft Montreal, since I have no idea what those other names mean.

Salut Michel!
Funny,i was thinking just this week that you should rename that MC dealership.Even if "Nautique" in french is use for "marinre" ,still embarassing for a MC dealer!:o

My idea was "Mastercraft de Montreal"...Hope you like it.
Please send the TT boat to my address...

Do you know anyone who is going skiing in Florida for the Christmas vacations?

Sweet Set up! I really dig the marina, I wish we were on the water, I have to drive at least 2 minutes to get on a lake.

I'd vote for MasterCraft Marine

Why not "Montreal Mastercraft" instead of "Mastercraft Montreal"? If you are going to put Mastercraft first I'd insert "of" in between.

How about "CAWS". Canadian Area WaterSports? Just kidding.

Salut Michel,

My vote goes for: Mastercraft Montréal. You could then add at the back of your boat: MMMSTT (Mastercraft Montreal Michel Soucy Tournament Team).

I am having second toughts on Mastercraft Montreal. It might be confused with a big tools store. In Canada, Mastercraft is a very popular brand of tools that is sold at Canadian Tire (very similar to Craftman at Sears).

The name of your store has to have a reference to the marine world like: Bateaux Mastercraft de Montréal (Mastercraft boats of Montreal).

Good luck

Interesting. Finally someone to give Desjardins marine a run for the money.
You have to watch the use of the word "mastercraft" in Canada as most people usually associate it with Canadian Tire stores and products.
Unless you are going to focus specifically on MC's you might want something a little more generic to appeal to a wider audience.

Just my two cents.

Sports Marins - Mastercraft de Montréal

Even if the Mastercraft name is associated with Canadian Tire, it is a very positive brand name (Canadian Tire or Boat Company) that you should use to your advantage. Most boaters and almost all skiers and boarders in Canada knows about Mastercraft Boat Company and would not be confused with Canadian Tire, specially if you associate it with Sport Marins or something with Marine (or Nautique :D ) in the name.

You definitely need to use Mastercraft de Montéal in the name as most skier dreams of owing a Mastercraft some day.

The trend in the car industry (here in Québec at least) is to name or rename dealerships this way. It gives the client the impression it is the "official" dealer for the region and other dealers become secondary dealers.

The name "Mastercraft de Montréal" will bring Desjardins to secondary status to the Laurentian only.

:twocents:

Salut.
Jean-Claude

P.S.: I will take a pull and some coaching in the course. It is worth almost as much as a TT right now.

The "of" can not be used in a store name in Montreal as the name must be in french: c'est la vie!
