Had some friends over this evening. We have some X-mas lights displayed around the home front and they look very festive.
The debate revolved around light size and color....what size looks best for the enhancement of the X-mas light experience and what color(s)
best depeict the the true Holiday spirit.

The general concensus was the C9 size afforded the best bang for the buck for presentation and quality of light around our surroundings here during the holidays for the ladies, the men prefered the see through clear bulbs...

Would anyone like to express their preferences?

I am a big fan of the C7 size bulb on the house and then using the standard minis in the trees bushes etc. C9s look really big to me. The C7 being a little smaller are a little more efficient and just slightly more subtle. I have been using plain white C7s on the roof for about 4 years now. I use a combination of colored and white minis on the shubs and trees. Sorry no pics.

Have any of you guys used the new LED christmas lights? I saw them at Target and I am thinking about a change out next year!

I screwed up:o I still trying to figure it out.
I was talked out of buying a peacock and bought this rooster and 2 Rhode Island Reds instead. Should have bought the peacock.
It is funny how all of these threads can relate
