It looks like this is the year for an upgrade on my 1994 PS205. Either upgrading to a 197 or 214. It depends on what the 214 seating siutation looks like and when it will be available.

My buddy offered me $17,000 for the 205. Boat, trailer, 3 covers and a boom. Is this a fair price in TN?

Let me know your thoughts. I am a little scared to buy a new MC as this 205 has been flawless for me and I am concerned that the new ones have little nick knack things go wrong with them. My buddies X-Star had a lot of small little issues.

This time of the year, definetly a great price. You MIGHT be able to squeeze a few more thousand out of it in the prime boating season.

That will be one sad day if I sell my 205.

Not the best deal ever, but if its a solid boat then its a fair deal.

FWIW, I sold my '94 prostar 190 in 1997 for $19,500! If you can get $17,000 for your '94 205, I think you're doing good. (even though I sold mine too cheap back then!)

I just sold my 1994 Prostar 205 for $17,000. The boat and trailer were flawless. 352 hours on boat. I feel it was a fair price, and so did the guy that bought it. To check condition see http://www.memphiszclub.com/mastercraft/

Geez, I sold my 94 190 for $17,500 in 1996 with around 150 hours on it, and I had to struggle to get that. Everyone (mistakenly) wanted the new hull. Luckily I only paid $21k for it new, so I didn't lose that much.

I second Rob's post, I bought his boat! It is in excellent condition and well worth the asking price! The only problem was the boat was 1000 mi. away from me, but well worth the drive.
