View Full Version : How many members?

kycat2007

Since the departure of some of the family recently, I figured we would do a head count on the board. If you are still active and read the board let us know you are on board by just replying. No threadjack please. After we get the count then we can try to arrange the most users on line.
I have an idea we could all email one member and they can send out one email to that list to arrange the most users online at a time.

I think I have a good idea of the regulars that post but I wanted to see how many were still active. We know the regulars but if we only have about 50 active members, we aren't breaking any records.

So keep the posting alive and we will get a count. If you haven't replied to this thread we will assume you are not active and would not be able to get the message of the breaking record night.;)

Most people read their emails regularly right?

My :twocents: if you're really trying to beat the record why not try it in the summer where more people are active? One would possibly think, it'd be MORE ACTIVE in the Winter time when most boats are put away and the majority of ppl. are inside.
Oh wait! That's when MOST BABIES are made ...

Then, winterize the wife when you winterize the boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But, there are those who get in the boat in the winter and pretend it's not winterized!

Does the K & N powerfilter really last for 1,000,000,000 miles?
I will let you know... Oh, I don't know about the Billion Miles you mentioned. But a Million.. Maybe...8p
Mine has been in for about 10,000 miles so far, and no catastrophic engine failure related to air filtration as of yet.;)

Ok we have a head count of 35 as of now. We would be hard pressed to break a record at that number.

Lets keep this going for a few days.
I know Erk,HB, Mag, Jlf, Jeremy78,Beau, Rockman, Milk, boardbreaker, and some others have not posted but if the number of regulars is too low then no record.
guess I missed this one:o

OK, that US map showing the names is seriously cool. Is that currently available on the present forum? Is it just an old system? I am too much of a Newbie to know...

I think it's a site for groups like TT members. There is a photo section and a shout out, message board and a chat room, but no one ever uses it. If you sign on, it's easy to double post for some reason. I found it a PIA, because my password nor the site generated password will never work, so I just visit to see who has added themselves to the map and to find location members.

I have counted everyone that has stated they are on here on a regular basis. We have not heard from some like Jeremy78, JLF, Rockman, Boardbreaker, Erk, so this leaves to me to believe they are hating us or do not know. Lets keep this going for a few more days to see if we build momentum. 75 is not breaking any records right?

I've been courting MC for a flag for years, but someone doesn't get it. Even posted a suggestion here over 8 months ago, http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/forumdisplay.php?f=4 but it has since disappeared. Round file I guess!
Over 10 years ago I researched the flag issue, gave ProShop Purchasing/Marketing/Team MasterCraft a manufacturer list, distributor lists, prices, with/without pole and bracket, everything for less than $25 each. No takers! Would have had them made myself, but there is only so much I could do without their approval.

May I suggest you post a new thread with a proposed time/date for record breaking. Ask people not to post on this new thread but to "subscribe to thread" with "email notification". Then....you can post a reminder a few hours/days/whatever before the proposed time/date. Your post should kick out an email to all the thread subscribers. Will this work? I am relatively new at all of this.

OK....minor detail/correction if I may...I am a Jesus freak, as in follower, worshipper, subscriber, etc. Only HE gets the name Jesus. ;)
(I guess, technically speaking, derivatives of "Jesus" are commonly used in some Latin American countries, but you know of whom I speak.)

Back to business....I would be happy to do so if what I have proposed is accurate and useful. We need to have someone confirm this method and then give a proposed date.

Hey ETS, bcampbe7, and all you other members who know at least twice as much as I do about this forum: I proposed something in post # 174 about a thread subscribe/email notification that might facilitate breaking the record.

A) Will it work?
B) Where is the email notification sent (email or PM)?
C) Should we even try?

Freak,
I don't think there are even enough members around to come close, let alone at any specified time.

BTW- yes you can subscribe to a thread, and yes notifications can be set up.

Not quite as messy and as you know chickens can fly, so this just gives them some boost. I also use it to feed the neighbors dogs 3 houses up our leftovers and bones since they are in a fenced in back yard. Works well in a summer thunderstorm for disposing of stray animals. I have the neighbors really thinking it's raining cats and dogs.
