I wonder if some of those outdoor heater things sitting along the docks under the roofs would melt the snow away safely?

I cant believe that little amount of snow did all of that damage. Hope nobody gets hurt saving the rest of the boats.

WOW! How heavy was that snow, damn. The docks aren't even old. that'll be one big insurance claim. Didnt see any mastercrafts though.
Hopefully no one will get hurt in the cleanup

I just cried inside. That is horrific. I bet boaters insurance goes up this next year.

Unbelievable! I can not believe that snow does that! Do they normally not get snow in that area, or what is the deal? DO they pull the docks out during winters? What is horrible about insurance on most of those large boats is that the deductibles are 10% of the value insured and the marina will not be taking any liability!

Let's hope they spend a little extra money rebuilding EVERY roof with more of a slope & some sort of heater to melt the snow. Man that make's me MAD!!!

I would expect no one ever planned for much more than a little rain water on those roof surfaces. Snow is like my mother in law. HEAVY

I did see one good thing - a smashed smoker.

According to weather.com they only got 2 inches of precipitation on the 29th and 30th.

This is the lake of the ozarks in Central Missouri -- Right?

bad deal.. Hope the marina owners had weight of ice sleet and snow covered. They probably didn't. It's generally excluded on structures without walls. That is some major $$$ to be paid out for some boats.

Erk - you need to move to the Lake of the Ozarks there will be a lot of boats being purchased.

Salvage companies make a FORTUNE!!!!!

They are even more lucrative than an MC dealership! ;)

I think they had .5" to 1" of ice before the snow. That much ice is heavy.
