the drivers side adjustable seat slide on my 91 prostar has corroded beyond repair.the dealer says this part is no longer available.does anyone know if some later model seat slide rails might be compatible with the seat on my 91?

How bad is it??? Pictures would be helpful.....the seat slide is simple enough that you may be able to disassemble and clean up with a polishing tool like a dremel or with some steel wool and elbow grease.

I had an 85 S&S which has the same slider as my 2000 PS195. I had to replace mine as well because the old owners sat on the back of the seat and bent the slider. My local mastercraft dealer ordered them from MC last summer for $20.00. Another note: my friends 2001 Malibu uses the same slider. Maybe try a Malibu dealer.
