I wish it was up here too. If the wind would calm down we would be making ice with the cold weather we have now. We need good ice before the snow shows up I guess. I remeber many years ago my parents lake in Wautoma had a little ice, then got dumped on with snow and it was never safe all Winter. The crazy icefishermen even stayed off so you know it was bad. Given the amount of lakes with trails going across up here that would be a very bad thing:o

Erk, I'm jealous, at you least you might get to get out and play around even if it isn't some serious riding. I have a brand spanking new sled sitting in the garage teasing me everytime I go out there. I want to at least fire it up and play in the yard soon!!! It is cold, there sould be snow.

I was supposed to fly into Chicago this morning, but my flight is canceled. Not sure if I will ever get home, but for now I am hoping they do not cancel my flight later in the day. Otherwise, it is back to the hotel since there is not much else heading in that direction until tomorrow.

I like the snow as much as the next guy, but not when I am at the mercy of the airlines.

not much near me. I am on the lake, we dont get much snow here, the lake protects us, the lake effect snow falls further inland. you get 5 or 10 miles away from the lake, you got snow!

they got a good pile of it from what I hear.

It's funny how it falls in piles like that! Maybe that's where someone in Tampa, FL got 30+ tons of it trucked in for the kids to play in this past weekend? Saw it on the national news, go figure?

That is why I moved here;)

The really nice part about this area is that even if we don't have decent snow it can be sometimes found within 20 minutes (Manitowish Waters). The furthest we have trailered to ride was approx. 4 hours over to Munising to ride the Kingston Plains(very cool by the way).

Don't sell the sled yet............it is very early in the year. The snow will come:)

Usually Snow and Colorado are synonymous but as of today we are lacking in the snow dept. Dont get me wrong the mountians are burried in it but down in metro denver we have none. This past weekend it was nearly 65 degrees! All I want for Christmas is some snow! :)

I wasn't planning on it, it WAS just a thought..... We shall see.... Don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be the end of my riding, but as little as I can get away, I could rent of borrow one. It just wouldn't be MINE and certainly would not have the power I have grown accustom too...;)

And riding here has grown to be almost non-existant...
