Guy that built this tested it in Marine Stadium near my house. I am sure Ryan has seen in first hand as well, the guy would use it on a weekly basis!

Can you get an adult-sized slalom ski in the trunk? That'd be ground breaking from what some have said?

It's nice, but Pontiac's make better wakes.

No slalom, just a shorty play ski!! The thing has a Subaru WRX motor that drives the jet...

Supposedly the guy is trying to bump up production. He built it in his garage in Orange County and tested to see if it would float, in his backyard pool. HotBoat Magazine ran an article about it a year or so back. Here is the link to his website: http://watercar.com/

Indeed. That thing is really impressive in person.

Two of the times I have seen him there he has broken down. I offered help once when his steering cable broke, it would only go straight in the water.

Figures he would break... who would use a jet continuously in the salt anyways? When I talked to the guy, he made it sound like he was made of money. I think he lives in Newport Coast above Pelican Hill Country CLub, because over the summer I saw it parked if front of a REALLY nice house down there.
