I've got a 99 x-star, and i'd like to find a jump seat similar to this one from a 205V. Can I get one from mastercraft direct? Or can anyone here get me one?

Call some dealers, i.e., Lex at Rambo Marine, Mike at MC Charlotte, Erik at Chicago MC, Jim at Bay Area Water Sports, etc. If they still have them, you can be assured that they are very expensive (at least they were when I was looking at them). If they're no longer available, I"d suggest making your own like I did. With hinged cushions, a step on both sides to get over it, and storage underneath, I prefer mine to the stock seat.

Mike, that's a pretty good price on that seat. I remember the best quote I got on one when I was looking a couple of years back being $500. The retail is something absurd like $700, correct? Anyway, the question of do they still make 'em is answered.

Do they sell just the base (sans cushions) by any chance?

As I mentioned, that's the cheapest I've seen a new one go for. I've speculated that the seats are stuffed with $20s. Including the cost of OEM vinyl, I probably spent over $300 making mine. So while it's close in cost, I did get the accent color on the seatback.
