No snow here. I'm glad too. Yesterday we tore out a rotten railroad tie retaining wall. Today we've begun putting in a new one out of the stackable concrete blocks. Tons of work. This early fall type weather is great for yard projects! Yard projects make me happy!!!

I'm done with my lunch break and off again to get dirty. :) :)

Making snow on the hills in western WI and eastern MN, but at high 50's its a little slushy. Okay when the sun goes down. We have been out a few times, the hill we go to has 3 runs open.

No rubbin' it in here. Just encouraging those that ride to make a trip out west where the snow is best :D

By the way, it is still snowing. I think we have already had over 105" of snowfall. ;) I went out yesterday and burned through 2 tanks of petrol. It was steep and deep. Just duct tape the throttle and hang on. I'll try to find some pics to post.

We had a lot of snow in October, then a beautiful mild November with some final lake days. Supposed to dump up to two feet tonight in the mountains. Storms heading east from Carbon Dreams neck of the woods.

I'm in Bend, Oregon. A little too far south for your trip. We are just on the East side of the Cascade Mountains. Mt. Bachelor is the closest ski hill. About 15 minutes from my house.:D

I was wondering if you were in Bend. My neighbor has been spending lots of time there with his plane. (Built a Lancair).
We make it there once a year to ski at least. Glad to hear the snow is so fantastic already. You are very lucky to live so close! White Pass is good, but not as good as Bachelor.

Who's your neighbor? I probably know him as I used to be the Chief Pilot for Lancair.

Yes we are very fortunate to be riding already! Especially in deep powder with a solid base.
