Sounds like a fun time! If I were in Florida, I'd be there as a spectator.

I assume this is a barefoot race? Explain how this works for those of us who don't know. (4 laps, one man per lap?)

I assume barefooting, 28 miles, Holy Cow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's more than fun, its' a blast and really intense!
And yes, it is a barefoot race - Barefoot RELAY Waterski Race!
Long and short of it is, one man foot's as long as he's able to hangon - when spent he taps out and exchanges postions w/ another in the boat. Going through entire rotation at least once, often more times on longer races.

If YOU weren't there, as either a barefooter or a spectator than you missed the race of a life time .
It was intense and really dramatic, an awesome race at breakneck speeds that caused constent jockey'n for
1st and 2nd right from the start.

Our TOP BIGDOG foot'd the entire 7 mile course alone at 45-50mph
and it wasn't until our second lap of 3 that of first transtition was made.

I'll go ahead and post all of the pic's probably Mon-Tues.
BTW, we ended taken 3rd Overall in the OPEN CLASS.
