My wife and I are travelling for Christmas, so we exchanged gifts tonight. I got an O'neill drysuit, and we planned a new years day ski.

Congrats and Happy Holydays to your family.
Is it the baggy or hybrid style with a tight buttom and loose top that you got?
Let us now how you feel with it on the water!

Brad, I don't doubt they're all Merry Christmases at your house, eh. ;) I echo what you said. We'll be doing about 500 miles in 4 days.

Methinks that Santa will be bringing me some Motorbox noise reduction and 25 hard foam sub buoys to replace my rotting swim noodles.

Everybody have a great Christmas, Festivus, whathaveyou.

All I want for Christmas is a really, I mean, really big water heater.

Like Nuclear Power Plant sized? There's a lake about 3 hours from me with one of those heaters. Some ski year round on the 65deg water.

it's the O'neill fluid, which is tight on the bottom half, and kinda baggy but not reall baggy.

I figure a reaction of about 3 x10 to the 8th disenegrations / second should just about do the job on our little lake. Who do you know that can help me get this done?

Just build a hydroelectric plant on your site. :D

We have a power plant lake about 30 miles from us. Makes for some good early season skiing. Unfortunately, it doesn't heat the whole lake, so you better be prepared to ski an entire pass to get back to the warm spot.

Robert Averyt

hydroelectric would be to easy and they disturb the skyline to much. A nice little reactor would look really cool. And looking really cool is what it is all about. Right?
(If I am going to dream it might as well be a good one.)

Dude for that kind of money you ought to just move to Hawaii and ski the Kailua River everyday.

Robert Averyt

Good Idea but there is no place in the world like TEXAS. Have you ever heard that everything is bigger and better in Texas. It is a well known fact.

'tis true. Okay, this is my last suggestion. It doesn't disrupt the skyline, and the cost is minimal. Anyone remember Trading Spaces. How did Eddie Murphy say they made a jacuzzi when they were growing up.

Robert Averyt
12-22-2004, 12:49 PM
Thats the answer. Wow what a great idea. I knew Mastercraft owners were smarter than the average bear.

Doug, I think you've got your Eddie Murphy movies mixed up with your TLC TV shows. The movie was "Trading Places".

Mark,
It is just the kind of people we all are. We went from a discussion on dry suits to building a nuclear reactor to blowing bubbles in a bath tub. What more could you want from off season?

Robert

No complaints dude. Just an observation.
This board kept me sane last off season

Robert Averyt
12-22-2004, 03:39 PM
Well if it can keep me sane this off season I will be very happy. My wife tells me I turn into a grump once ski season is over. There is a chance that I will have snow on my 190 in the next few days and that really does depress me. We will be skiing new years day and I refuse to take her off the lift. (The 190 not the wife)
Cheers to you all.

If I can get the boat running (carb is currently being rebuilt) we are going early Friday, but it'll be a short day, have to get home and watch the Boilermakers beat up on Arizona State. You are welcome to come then.

Better start writing letters now!
