OK ... so what are the advantages of the new liner that Mastercraft is using. I hear that the new 214 is getting the new liner and wonder what this is all about. Give me the scoop ...

I assume that the new liner now covers most of the boat and make snap-in carpeting an option but what else?

What's a liner?

The inner structure of the boat. Usually contains the floor, bilge and dash. Here is a pic of a fishing boat inner liner.

That was what I wanted clarified. It is the top piece of the boat that is molded in glass. They chemically bond the liner to the bottom mold ... at least I think this is what they are talking about.

My bigger question was what are the advateges to the new liner that MC is touting.

I think it is to make the boat more solid, handle the chop better.....?
