Prostar around 1993-1995 that was black and silver metalflake?
I remember seeing it in an old brochure back then, and it was very sharp!
I believe it had the normal prostar graphics, not the stars and stripes.
Anyone ever seen one of these? I think there were fewer of these than the Platinum Prostar, which was another sharp boat. (They were all serial numbered). I knew a guy who had a platinum, it was sweet!

It was the 93 Limited. First fuel injected inboard ski boat. Only 25 were made. You can view the brochure on the old TT site, downloads and information, brochure's.

Cool. I'd love to see the pics. Saw one for sale in Dallas last year shortly after I bought my boat.

In 89 or 90 there was a black hulled boat with a cream metalflake with teal accent stripe, I have only seen 3 of these. This was a limited edition also.

There was one in fairly sad shape :( at the MC dealer in Chesapeake, VA a few weeks ago. It had a tower on it.

Salt water usage and general neglect...

My 90 TriStar had been custom ordered with a Jade green metallic exterior stripe on platinum.. I was told the Prostar anniversary edition from that era (88-90 ?) was that color......

I believe this is the boat that your are looking for. 93 Limited, 25 made, LT-1 Corvette engine. It is in the 93 brochure. I was interested in this boat but decided to stay with my red 93 S&S.

NJSkier, they also had a silver metalflake one in 93, which had the hull for that period (different than pictured).

Bert, that's the one I'm talking about. Love to find one or at least see a picture of one.
Even if I find one, I think the wife would rather have a Maristar 230 for more interior space. Can't blame her though. Both very nice boats. :D

Was it not that the 93 Stars and Stripes were commemorative editions and then you had the 25th Anniversary Model, Silver metalflake, burgandy carpet, Code 5 ignition, MasterCraft embroided in the carpet behind the motorbox cover..? IIRC the first 3 boats had Ford fuel injection and the rest had LT-1 power. #3 and #17 were in AR..I know the guy still has #3 but not sure of #17. I've got some video at home of the second boat getting up 6 barefooters, the outside 2 were on kneeboards to start and the center 4 were deepwater.

Well I know of the first 2 I guess(Bean and then the family who bought Redman,s boat) don't know about the 3rd, or have the first two swapped owners?

Folks, I used to own #24 of 25. Wish I had it back. Sweet boat!!! Bought it from Skier's Edge, Indy and sold it to a guy in Seattle. He flew out and bought it...had it shipped.

Still looking for the pics (or real boat) of that 1990 Limited edition.

I know of a nice lake here that only allows boats less than 20', and that would be a nice one to run there.

I bought it in 2000. The Dude (Me) and the dog (Dewey) are def. on the boat, no photo shop here. Bought it in Austin Tx and hauled it to R.I. Not too many boats for sale around here at the time.

This one is in Seattle. The guy has NO idea what he has. Lots of gel coat
cracking on top of bar, some of gel coat in metal flake area that's gotten
sun exposure is slightly cloudy. Common problem on Glastron Carlson
cvx20 boats too. This I wouldn't call necessarily "metal flake" like on
the other limited edition. This boat's "flake" is more like 30% glitter
flakes IN a thick layer of tinted gel coat. Not a solid layer of flake.
I'm thinking when they layed this up, it was Clear, then turquoise stripe,
Black and clear with light sprinkeling of flakes, then clear/tint coats fallowed
by a base coat in the flake area. May be why the cracking happens.
The thicker, greater layers, the more contraction/expansion of the
gel coat......and cracks. I'm hoping to see if I can get it from the guy
this winter. He did say he could use money. Said he works as a body
guy......so if he starts in on this, it could end up worthless. Was talking
about "totally re-doing" the interior. Could be bad.

Update on that, solid flakes but they have a "pearl-esent" shine to them. Turquoise stripe is
sticker tape. see few more pics. Does anyone know what the option code for this
model was? Or what specifically it was called? just "special edition"?
