This subject came up before, but I was wondering do most owners wax their boat if they use this protectant, or is the protectant enough?

From what I've read in an earlier thread, the 303 will just wash off when you use your boat. People who use it have to reapply the 303 after every use. Personally, I'll stick with regular wax and save the 303 for the upholstery, dash and other interior areas.

k,

From experience, what shepherd says is accurate. you have to re-apply at least every other trip out if you are using 303. It makes the boat look great, but doesn't last long.

did you get a new boat? is the boat in your avatar yours or do you still have the '91?

One look at Bret's interior and I was convinced. I'll still use the 303 F.G. on my cover and Bimini though.

The Vinylex leaves to much of a glossy shine for my taste. I like that the 303 has more of a natural satin sheen to it.

Really? I found it to be just the opposite. I rub the vinylex in really good and it doesn't feel as greasy as 303 did after about 30 minutes or so.

I think this is just a fluke but I thought I would just throw it out anyway.I sprayed My 01' Dodge truck dash with 303 and within acouple of weeks the dash started cracking big time.But I do find it weird that the truck made it 5 years with no cracking then all at once after using 303. I use it on the boat upulstry and have been very happy with the results.

I'm gonna have to lean toward fluke.......

did both suburban's dash & instruments a long time ago, and they sparkle! just need touched up once and a while with a dry cloth.

screwed up sentence alert ahead::rolleyes:
I've found the 303 actually helps to repel dust, and driving on a dirt road sometimes really helps when it comes to get whatever I can to repel dust.
