I don't think it's beached. That may just be a little aquatic vegetation.

I didn't think it was beached....in fact, I'd rather see it beached....I think:confused:

Trust me, in warm climates where the water gets down to 5', it's not uncommon. That stuff may even be free floating. I'd love to burn it all up, but I doubt it's hurting the boat. Just unpleasant to look at.

Someone needs to start a shelter for neglected MasterCrafts.

:uglyhamme that's what I was thinking

It's pretty common to have to run through some weeds down here in the south. Doesn't hurt the boat as long as you make sure your raw water strainer doesn't get clogged up.

At any rate, if I was trying to sell my boat, I wouldn't use that picture.

Yeah, we get dense floating vegitation on the Delta out here. Wake up in the morning and the boat is surrounded by the stuff

I think I've got a picture of my old boat surrounded...I'll take a look tonight. Pretty harmless stuff, though.

Yup. Can make for some confusing winter runs out there with all those floating islands of it.

We get this at certain spots on the Colorado River. I have gone to bed, to wake up the next morning with 12 feet of vegitation dangling from the rudder and prop. It is just a matter of jumping in and pulling it off.
