I winterized my boat today and while I was doing it I could not help but think this may be the last time for the 'ol '94 205. The wife has given the go-ahead for a new rise and I am thinking our new boat will be a 214. Hopefully the ski wake and design will be as advertised and I will pull the trigger. The 205 has been an awesome boat and I am a little scared to get rid of it. 900 hours and no major issues in the 13 seasons.

13 seasons is pretty cool on a boat without major issues.
I have 4 on mine.

Bigbadblue -

I hear you loud and clear. At least you will be replacing your cherished boat with a new one right away. I sold my beloved '95 PS205 (hence my screen name) and had to wait over 2 years for a new boat.

Good luck with the 214 - I can't wait to see it.

Just make sure the ol 94 goes to a good home. She has been true to you, make sure you do the same to her. 13 seasons/900 hours is very impressive.

I feel your pain. I just sold my 93 PS205 with 1170 hours. It treated me very well. A growing family and larger lakes dictated a 209.

Hear ya eastie ... but the kids are getting BIG and want to take friends. Hope the 214 will be a little longer, wider and still have a great ski wake.

I think my 205 would last another 900 hours if I did not need something bigger.

Make sure you ski her first! Don't buy into that wait until we are married crap! Nothing will ever feel like your first! As guys I should inform you that woman are like boats. Would you not like to have kept your first and last?8p There are two spots in the garage you know? If you keep both one will feel like the first day you had her and the other will run like a pro! Both are good and both deserve to be there for your satisfaction!:D

We'll have one around boat show time hopefully, and your welcome to come down and test drive/ski it. Although, the water will be a bit chilly, but I'm game for a winter set :)
