Our daughter had to go help put her mother-in-law in the hospital with pneumonia and she asked me to keep our 9 week old grandaughter this afternoon all by myself,
1st full blown diaper change, except for changing oil in the boat!
1st feeding, except for filling the boat with gas!
Now she has been asleep for 1 1/2 hours, like winterization!

This is a whole lot more fun than all this .................................nevermind!
Just as long as it's in the right section!

Don't forget to stabilize that fuel and listen for overflow because it sprays everywhere if you don't.

Only on TT will you hear someone compare babysitting a newborn to maintenance on a boat. :uglyhamme

The wife is home now and I'm cooking supper. 2 successful diaper changes, her bilge pump works and the pan is gravity drain today. 1 big play period, so all is good!
It can't all be technical on here, but we gonna try to keep it in the road!

Doug, Traci has told us of 3 times Maddie has blown, let's say a trailer tire and debris went all over the room and it wasn't lake water either.

The thing is/was it's been 33 years since I did the baby keeping thing, but it's just like doing a power turn in an older DD MasterCraft. Once you have done it you never forget!

Congrats Harold,
How many packs did you smoke while changing the diaper? I know you had to be nervous!

Traci's mother-in-law, Eddies mother was diagnosed yesterday with advanced lung and throat cancer. Because the cancer is of the fastest growing kind known, she may only have days. She is 78 and a breast cancer survivor, yet it has returned and the doctors say it has only been there for a couple months. Everyone has flown in and we will be keeping the baby when they are up here when Traci doesn't have her at the hospital seeing her other grandmother. I wish we were babysitting under different circumstances.
