HOUMA, LA. – First Bank and Trust is making 8-year-old Cameron Steib’s "Child’s Wish" come true.

Cameron Steib, who suffers from Leigh's disease, a fatal neurometabolic disorder, will be the First Bank and Trust Junior Captain for the Philadelphia-Saints game in the Superdome Sunday. First Bank and Trust, one of the largest independent banks in Louisiana, is the official banking partner of the New Orleans Saints.

"We are absolutely thrilled that we could fulfill Cameron’s dream to go on the field with the New Orleans Saints," said J. Michael Brown, president and CEO of First Bank and Trust. "Being able to do things like this for kids like Cameron is truly the most rewarding part of our Saints sponsorship."

"A Child's Wish" (www.achildswish.org (http://www.achildswish.org)) is a Louisiana-based nonprofit fulfilling the dreams of children who must make plans one day at a time. Since 1982 it has provided more than 1,100 wishes.

First Bank and Trust provided game tickets for the entire Steib family, arranged a personal tour of the Saints training facility in Metairie and a meeting with Saints staff and players.

Cameron Steib attends St. Joe’s Elementary School in Thibodaux. He, his mother, Julie, father, Marion Jr., and siblings Marion III, Mattie and Lucy, are being chauffeured from Thibodaux to New Orleans on Saturday by Celebrity Limo.

The Steibs will visit the Saints training facility and meet with Saints players and staff. They will shop at the Black and Gold Shop, eat dinner at Impastato’s and stay overnight at the Astor Crown Plaza.

Cameron Steib’s weekend will be highlighted walking onto the field with the Saints players for the coin toss before the game.
"So many people have told us how special Cameron is," said Harold Favret, loan officer for First Bank and Trust’s new loan production office in Houma. "A magical kid deserves a magical experience like the one Cameron will have on Sunday as First Bank and Trust’s Saints Junior Captain."

First Bank and Trust’s new loan office is located at 1340 W. Tunnel Blvd., Suite 320 in Houma. Founded in 1991, First Bank and Trust has branch locations in New Orleans, Metairie and Baton Rouge; home mortgage offices covering the Gulf South; affiliated banks on the North Shore (Peoples Bank headquartered in Amite and in Biloxi, Miss., a new loan office in Houma; and plans to open another loan office in Lafayette this fall.•
