i am thinking of buying a 94 prostar 205 and would like to have you guys tell me if i am getting a good deal. it has 500 hours, zeroflex tower, tower speakers, alpine head unit, original upholstery. price is 15,000$, is that a good deal and what should i look for before buying it? and what do you guys think of the 94 205 for wakeboarding?

Thats a pretty good deal if the boat is in good shape.
If you weight the boat with a few fat sacs the wakeboard wake is pretty good, but keep in mind it was not designed as a wake boat.
I have a 94 205 and have been very happy with it.

I would agree that with everything on the boat (tower, speakers, etc...) it seems like a reasonable price - if it is also in great shape.
I had a '95 PS205 (hence my screen name) and I loved it. I mainly skiied behind it but we did load it up with about 1,200 lbs of water to wakeboarad. I can tell you the standard 275 TBI 5.7L is grossly underpowered for that much weight in the boat. What engine is in it? I think some late model '94s may have gotten the LT1 which would certainly help.

I believe there is a 1994 205 in the marketplace on this site.
Also, when I was both buying and selling, I watched the prices on BoatTrader.com as KBB prices didn't seem to be a very good reference.
I'm guessing erk will chime in from Chicago MC. He's usually got a good/realistic opinion on pricing.
