Somebody say amphib?

We got a few of these parked outside my window. Even got a ride in one. Noisy, inefficient, expensive, but they can go where nobody else can.
I'm not "in" the Navy, but they pay my bills.

Even though I don't live in your country, I feel that I must say thanks to your military men & woman. The job that they do allow me to have a sense of security even in my own country.

Any person that is willing to risk their own life so that someone else may live a better one is alright in my books.

The patriotism that I see displayed when ever I am down in the States, makes me wish that we were more patriotic North of the Border.

I have ALOT more pics. Some of them are a little too graphic, I will have to dig through and find a couple of the good ones.

Wow! Those posts are giving me chills!
I am very proud of our military!

Mikey, what an awesome piece of history you were a part of!
Just think of the real life stories that you can hand down.

Like George C Scott said in Patton:

Now, there's one thing that you men will be able to say when you get back home, and you may thank God for it. Thirty years from now when you're sitting around your fireside with your grandson on your knee, and he asks you, "What did you do in the great World War II?" -- you won't have to say, "Well, I shoveled s*it in Louisiana."

The speech:

They are called and they go, they go even though they are not called! Mikey's pics were amazing! His photos will probably be in my grandchildren's history books! Can you imagine? Mikey and all like you Thank You! This is a great site and I am amazed every day at the caliber of persons on this site. I know there are more of you guys out there. Mikey, Brieod, and more. There should be a thread for you guys that us guys can hang out on. Anyway I feel very cool being associated with this site. I am Hoosier and that could be a problem!

No, but I probably should change the last three letters now due to my career change.

Yeah, that photo was about 10 years ago. I was not married yet, lived in gym and ate pretty much chicken breasts and eggs. I'm a little slimmer now, but still in good shape and still lifting.

Stevo had posted some pics of the Air Force Thunderbirds...well I had to give a shout out for the Navy Blue Angels. The Blues at the end of their season fly their formations with only 12 inches between wingtips! In my opinion the Blues put on a much better show...but I am a little biased :D
