H - I have a question. I woule like to hard-wire an accessory gps mounted near my dash, and need to connect 2 bare wires to +/- leads. Problem is, I took a look under the dash and everything is buttoned-up pretty tight. Any suggestions (or directions!?!)? Ideally I would like to tie it to an my accessory 2 switch (#1 is sound system). Boat is 2005 205V/X-1. Thanks, Tim.

you could always run it to an empty fuse, and run a switch off it if you are having trouble. I did something like this with my car, im not sure if it is completley the same here...

Look behind switches for a bundle of wires. They will be labled Assy #1, #2 etc. If they are not in plain view, just hand over hand the wires from the assy switches. I have heard that sometimes they are behind the gauges and require the lifting up of the dash and finding them. If you find them tie the + to the assy #2 wire and - on the grounding block located under drivers console.
Hope this helps
