I usually take mine in for winterizing they check engine alignment and a few other things too. If they goof it's their problem!

how do you define alignment? do you know what is done? I have no clue.

I was asking for help because I do not want a dealer to do and I want to do it myslelf. The fact that this engine uses antifreeze and is a closed loop system has me confused.

There is a Engine alignment thread or two here - do a search - Also there is a well laid out procedure - in a word document somewhere here....
