Really beautiful 1937 Century, you can feel the guys pain in letting this one go when you read the listing. This one is really tempting if I had storage for it.

Reading that almost brought tears to my eyes.... The guy makes it sound like he's selling his kid (although in many ways, I'm sure he is).

What a beautiful craft. I am fortunate that on our lake there are quite a few of these vintage boats still out there. His comment about waving to your neighbors as you cruise by at sunset is Oh so true.

I hope that guy didn't buy the boat thinking it was a 1937 when it was actually a 1941.

Did anyone see what was written at the bottom of the ebay advertisement? That would s*ck to find out that the boat you had wasn't actually what you thought it was!

I saw that too and am guessing he didnt do much work to it since he's had it or he'd have already learned that little detail.
Those old boats are so damn cool though.

Been there done that... Most hopeless feeling in the world.. Someone else making YOUR decisions and not a darn thing you can do about it.. Usually while another guy has his arm around her.....

Live with em, sleep with em, play with them, ski with them, get a life insurance policy for them, Just DON"T MARRY EM"........

Especially when it goes from a "dual cockpit" to a gay sounding "sea maid".....

Did anyone else notice the absence of an eye hook on front? How does the bow attach to the trailer? Surely they don't hook on to that eye on the deck.

The boat is beautiful even if it's a '41 and still only $5.1k reserve not met.

I was looking at 39'-59' boats and ran across this one (not that I'm buying anytime soon, but would like one someday).

Didn't mean to dis marriage, but is one example of how bad it can be.
