So last night I was bored (cuz my turn was over mainly) and I decided to see how slow I could go for the GF to pop up on the wakeboard. 4.5 MPH!! And stayed up (till the finger went up, then we moved the speed up to 18).

What is she 110lbs on a 141cm board? I think at that speed my head may rise 1 inch if I turn the board just right ;)

she's 90 lbs on a 134 board. We alway joke about how fast she pops up, and that we could probably tow her through a no wake zone. If the X-Star didnt throw so much wake off, we could get her through the no wake zone.

although this isnt the 4.5 MPH run, youll get the idea.

Must have been a tsunami sized wake at that speed?

OK, so I have a correction to yesterdays statements. Last night we went out and I checked on a couple of things.

at 4.5 MPH, my boat doesnt have any wake. And Nicole (GF) is on a 128 board.

I90 just behind us, Mercer on the left and Bellevue on the right. Difficult to see 520 in the far distance.

Ok - just outside of Maydenbauer Bay. Gotcha. Where are you going to be tonight, if you go out?

I have the kids soccer practice from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

She is doing very good. Kinda funny though she sometimes if she is not agressive enough she bounces off that wake back out in the flats kinda like wakesurfing for her!

Not sure. I dont get off work untill 5, so I usually get to mercer island at 6:00 - 6:30. due to the lack of longer days, we usually look right, then left as we pass over the bridge to see what side looks best.

dang bro if you were closer i would be out everynight with you. I just got in from a run with a friends boat. finally started landing 180's back and forth consistently. Your lucky to have a girl like that. From the looks of it she's wearing a wetsuit which means the water is pretty cold. most girls wouldn't even get on the boat with the weather like that. my girlfriend will only get up and go outside the wake and back inside. i try and get her to learn how to pop and jump but she's so timid b/c of the few faceplants she's taken. but at least she can get up

yeah. She does get cold easy. We just got her a drysuit at adreniline watersports. $250 and well worth it. Kinda like insurance for me to go more often!! She always gets cold (even in 100 degree weather and 90 degree water). She has no complaints with the drysuit in 60 degree water though!
