It's a good soccer year for Carmel HS, anyone else have kids in HS soccer? My oldest in on the team and middle son hopes to be called up from the JV for state.

We are 15-0-0 with 64 GF and 2 GA. The team is ranked #1 in Indiana, #4 in the nation playing a very tough schedule.

Two regular season games left and then sectionals, regionals, semistate, and finals!

But you never know with soccer!

I would question also, could still be true, but 4 brother in laws range from 6' 4" to 6' 7" so my sons gets it from that side, I'll let you take it up with them!

Also one BIL played HS baseball with Don Mattingly and was drafted pro, but went to school.

But hey, I am away on business enough you never know!

When are you winterizing? I'm getting close but think there may be a wetsuit day in the next two weeks.

Nice job with the offspring Leroy! Are you sure there wasn't another dog in the yard?8p

He would be an accountant!8p My daughters team played Carmel Football tonight. They dress 20 more players than the home team! They send Cheerleaders and busloads of fans for 8th grade football! I was amazed as I looked across the field and saw what looked like Ohio State University!8p

There is no limit to the craziness from Carmel. Overachieving parent capital. Let me guess, your team won!

Your daughter plays football? My 11 year old daughter wants to also?????

She is a cheerleader. No Northview lost 30-0!!! Carmel is a train! Warren is all I have left!

As long as you daughter had fun!

If you have Warren, #1 HS football team in the country you'll be ok! IN the HS game with Carmel we were bragging we held Warren to year low of 28 points. I belive it was 28-0 Warren won.

Hey Leroy,
You a Carmel boy too? What do you think of our wonderful mayor?
Both of my daughters played for Frank Dixon. You are right about Carmel being the overachieving parent capital of the world.

Hey Slinky; I should know you.....I have an 18, 16 and then a 11 girl. Both boys played on the CHS state champion team. I know Frank very well and am on the CUSC board of directors.

I actually like the mayor the arts is good, just wish he would give CUSC $5M for a soccer complex or build us something like Evansville or Memphis! I've met with him couple times on this topic, but he is not a sports guy!

Yea Brainard is a pretty dimunitive sort. My daughters are older now. They played when the fields were out on Springmill Road many moons ago. Live out on the beautiful Hazel Dell Parkway, go to Lake Tippy as much as I can. I have had two Mastercrafts. Sold one this summer so I could restore an old 79 I bought new. Anyway, trying to figure this team talk thing out, not sure I have the hang of it yet.

Congradulations Leroy, will they go onto a Nationls competition now?

For high school state is pretty much it. Club has state, regionals, national championships. Club try outs were the day after the high school championship and now club season is going strong.

Slinky; I live near Springmill and 141st on west side. Would be happy to give you a pull next year. We tent to hit early skiing on Morse and Geist. We went to Lake Tippy one weekend last summer, really nice lake!
