Well, I am not interested in being 74 either, but life happnes. Hey, just remember people who dont have it as good as you do, what bout people who never make it to 40? some kids die of lukemia or lack of an organ donor. How do you think they would like to be 40 yrs old? Just remember what you DO have Steve, and dont focus on a perceived negative idea of age 40. 40 is young my friend. just think of all the great years ahead, some never get to age 40. savor it my friend, savor it. :)

Be prepared for anything! It's been a crazy ride for me since turning 40 but also a very good one.
Someday we'll lift a few beers with HB and I'll tell you a few "I can't believe I did that since turning 40" stories. :D

HAPPY B-DAY!

I totally agree JR! Hoosier was a maestro with with words at Mag mania! When Hoosier opens his mouth, its like a symphony of nonsense, drunkeness, lewdness, rudeness, political incorrectness, all come together in harmony for some of the funniest shiznit you have ever heard!!:D

YOu wouldnt believe the way that some words in the english language can be arranged to form a sentence! HB is an lingual artist and architecht at the same time. when you hear him speak you are in the presence of a master. ;)

Well that sucks!

Nearing the end of my 40's (holy crap), I think my 40's have been the best ride so far. Takes a little longer and few more pills to get over almost everything, LOL. Little smarter to not do the really stupid stuff, like jump off the top of a 75ft cliff...not one of my life's brighter moments... But things actually improved, partially driven by finally getting rid of psycho B!

Just a little distraction about turning 40.

On my dad's fortieth birthday, July 4, 1968, he learned to water ski on that day. He got 12 good years of skiing in before, well you know......Ever since then the family has been skiing.

On December 31, 2005 I turned 50, no big deal.

Always keep this in mind........When you cease to age..... it is not a good thing.

40 so what??

I'm less than a year away, can relate a bit.

Life's not about counting what's gone by. It's about family, friends, faith, doing the right thing, enjoying your time. Having left the 20s with sometimes questionable decisions and priorities well behind, I'm smart enough to do a better job enjoying myself and taking care of my own. And I can still ski with the younger crowd, so bring it on 40 !

Let er rip, have fun, and enjoy your day. It's just another day!
