At first glance it doesn't look that bad, outside of not having any guide bars on the trailer. A real fixer upper, cheap. It's really more than most older boat owners start with buy buying a cheaper used boat.

Good on you! The trailer alone is worth twice that.

For a grand? Score!
If it runs, slam dunk!
And if it's even close to getting on the water, grand slam!

The trailer doesnt have guide ons... just tell everyone your goint for the sporty look thats what i have been doing.....but im finally fixing up my ps of a 78 mastercraft trailer. I cant even drive it up right now... who puts a flat peice of wood on a trailer....before the project started i had to lift the bow of the boat over the wood and then hook it with a chain...not even a winch!

Looks like a great buy. I would have bought it for a "G".

Cool looking boat. Can't wait to see the progress pictures as you bring it back to life. If people are selling boats like that for $1000, I need to keep my eyes open.

This is why people keep falling for scam ads because of deals like this. If I saw an ad on Craigslist that had this M/C for a Grand I would have wrote it off as some sort of scam ad!! Maybe that 07 X-Star I saw on eBay for 20Gs was legit?
I dont think it can be stressed how good of a deal this was.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a decent used trailer for a G.
Keep us posted.

Wow, you stole that boat.....
How 'bout some specs. Engine, hours, extras?
More pics of interior and condition......the folks here are great for advice on refurbishing.
Congrats on a great purchase!!

Yep, those two speaker in the center of the tower only cost me $1000 at the MC dealer when I bought the boat. :D
... again, you have a cool boat, love the way the windshield makes it look. More pictures are need to be posted of the "before" and future "after" boat.

Get the papers in hand as fast as you can on this, what a great deal. Good for you and good luck.

Dude you got strung up on this deal. Look I will cut you a break and buy it for salvage for $750. I know I am a super nice guy. You can thank me later.
You know what they say the best 2 days of owning a boat are the day you buy and the day you sell. I can allow you to feel this euphoria from both in less than a week. Who could ask for anything more?

I think you are a bit confused.
I was pointing out to him that he has been taken advantage of and was willing to help him cut his loses at $250 dollars.
I am unsure why you would pay anywhere near $1100 for that boat.

just playin around.
That is a great deal you got on that.
If you have to re-do the gel, interior and put a crate engine in it you will still come out ahead.
