A friend of a friend is selling this MINT 944 turbo. Carfax is clean and true. If you remove the little red/blue boost enhancer on the engine, this could be a Concours' car with very little TLC. My brother in law, paid $16.5k for one almost identical 3 years ago, with 35k on the odo but it did have sport seats.

Anyway, these are great cars, do your belts every 4 years, and water pump every second belt change, oil every 3k miles and these things will last a long time. They drive and handle great and make excellent weekend trips in comfort. Oh yeah, you can change the expansion tank for around $126 and that engine compartment will look brand new.

Did you tell her it had a back seat...well if you have kids under 9 or 10.

Also, if someone has the funds in the bank or whatever and you don't want to spend it all, www.jjbest.com will handle all the financing for you for nice classic cars.

To me, sports cars should always be bright red exterior. Black interior. :twocents:

Actually, in 1986, Porsche Cars North America, imported more red 944 turbos than all the next three year red ones put together.

I used to know the guy who had #12 imported into the US. Worked on it a few times. Nice car!

GREAT CARS

Dated somebody for 6 years with one, we traveled a lot of miles in that sweet ride. We remained friends, and I (somewhat) jokingly asked her to leave the car in her will, as her kids most certainly didn't need any more money. Never expected her to pass away six months later, and no she didn't update her will

If you watch Speed TV, a show called Top Gear, the host actually put these cars in his top 10 list and the 944 turbo was #5. He raced them and personally owned one. I'm biased on them as I own 1.5, one mine and I have a partner in the race car.

Harold Page you need this to park next to your boat and if you can't take the "rig" to an event, this will help you get there faster :D.

IT IS NOT A BACK SEAT! its a grocery storage area.
