I have a 2003 197 trailer and I need some replacement parts.
I need two caliper kits and 2 sets of two brake pads. Also I need a single 6 hole rotor with 4150 max rating (Is it likely that this wore out. It appears to me it did.). I was wondering if I could buy these somewhere online or the best place to get these. Thanks for the help.

Call MC first. They replaced mine under warranty even though they were 3 years old. They've had trailer issues. I was the second owner. Mine were replaced with Kodiak 225 calipers by the dealer. Here is the link.

Do you have MC's number? I bought the boat just this year from the original owner but never transferred the warranty. I think it would be more to transfer the warranty than to buy the parts and install. On mymastercraft, I found everything that I would need. Only reason is trailer is 150 miles from any dealer. I will try to see what happens. Let me get that number.

Is the parts you can buy from mymastercraft fine? What was the problem with the trailers? In the calipers or what?

Do you think the rotor would have went bad on one of the wheels? I believe not only are the calipers bad but one of the wheels needs the rotor replaced I think. Would this be possible or likely? Thanks.

Here is the link to what I had replaced. I also posted on MYMC's site.

Stuck calipers destroy the pads and then the rotors. It depends on the amount of damage. It is very possible that the calipers ruined a rotor and brake pads.
The only difference is that I transferred the warranty for the boat. The trailer wasn't technically covered but, they fixed it anyway. I fought sticking calipers for almost a year before I got fed up enough to call
423-884-2221. Mastercraft stood behind their product for me.
Good luck.

If that doesn't work, I've had great success ordering parts from www.trailersbydorsey.com
