Thinking about going. Apparently the slalom will only be a 4 buoy course, the jump ramp only 5.5 feet, and tricks only 15 seconds(?). But the show will be at night at Downtown Disney which should be interesting to see.
Has there ever been tournaments there before? Has anybody been to one there?
When is the tournament????

So... is this a really really short lake?
Almost seems like too much of a hassle...

The tournament will be held September 13-16. As far as I can tell, most of the skiing will take place at AWSA headquarters, which is down the road from Disney, with additional night skiing Friday and Saturday night (finals Saturday night) at Downtown Disney.
I don't think the lake is "really really" short, but just barely too short for a full length course maybe... I've been there a few times before and IIRC it looked long enough to me... I guess I'm wrong.
Mastercraft is sponsoring it, so maybe they can provide more info???
