My Blower and Navigation Light switches gave up on me last season. The Nav switch was completely gone (which isn't a problem because I don't usually go out at night), and I have to jiggle the blower switch (make all the jokes you want8p ) to get it to work.

Knowing that I'm headed to Clear Lake for three days, and that we'll be out at night, I had to get it fixed. I pulled the switches and was planning to buy new ones, but decided to try and repair these first.

The process was pretty simple. There are small metal tabs that you can bend to disassemble the switch, and then pull all the contact parts out. Here's what the switch looks like disassembled:

And here's what the dirty contact plate looked like:

I used a simple wire brush to clean up the contacts, and reassembled both switches. Now they work great!

Looks great :) Hope you have fun on Clear Lake.

That is where I learned to Ski. When I was a kid my uncle had a house on Clear Lake. :D
