I've had a leak for a while.
Long story short, I have 3" exhaust on the boat. Came to me that way. But the fittings/flanges that go through the transom are 2.5". So obviously the 3" hose will not tighten and seal to a 2.5".

I can fix this problem. But I was wondering how this boat was originally out fitted? Does anyone know?

All boats except the one with 4" exhaust are 3". The outside diameter of the fitting thru the transom should be 3", so the 3" pipe rubber will fit over the transom pipe and a 3" exhaust flapper will fit over the transom outside pipe. The rubber exhaust should be 3" inside to fit over the 3" outside diameter exhaust riser and the 3" outside diameter pipes of the mufflers.
The 3" term used is nominal, as the exact sizes may vary as much as 1/8", but it is considered 3".
