Some one PM'ed me a while back asking for pics of the ladder I installed on my platform. ( So my 80 year old Dad could climb back into the boat) Unfortunately, I lost the PM and don't know who requested the pics?? Hopefully you will see this post.:wavey:

That is awesome & I'm sure it works well.

On the cheaper side, last year while my wife was 6 months pregnant, she needed a little extra boost to get back in the boat. I took a slalom handle, hung it over the teak, threaded the other end through the grab bar, and attached it to the tube towing hook in the rear. Worked like a charm. I had to tie a small knot in it to shorten it a tad.

Also worked great for our 2.5 year old to get back in the boat.

Ladder is great, but I too wanted just a temporary quick fix for my Mom and we used the handle also.

Got the ladder at a local marine dealer. Problem was the small mount, that came with the ladder, offered no support when in the retracted position. I designed an aluminum L bracket, with a notch cut into it, to act as a track. Works pretty well actually.

Nice work. Does the end of the ladder stick out past the edge of the platform when in the upright position?
