Anyone have experience with video IM?

I am looking at buying a couple of webcams (one for us and one for my parents) so we can communicate via video IM.

I am looking at the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX, but would like input on others.

Now, I use Skype http://www.skype.com/

I use a wisecom camera

Wisecom Mini Color Camera w/Night Vision and Audio (http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=141724)


and an Intervideo capture card and tv tuner (http://www.pcaware.com/proddetail.asp?prod=371002)

had those items for other reasons, then put them together....works great

I run it through yahoo messenger, or record and play back video VHS, record TV/Dishnetwork, etc.....
