I do not normally cry from the mountaintop when I feel I have been wronged but I sure as he11 remember when someone has gone out of thier way for me.

I am drving into work and I notice during a gas station stop that there is fluid pouring from the underside of my vehicle. I think to myself, hmmm "that can't be good". Luckily for me the gas station is 1000 yards from the dealer where I bought the vehicle.

I go into the service department just as they are opening this morning and I am greeted with a can I help you? I explain the issue. The guy walks out to the vehicle and climbs underneath it. At this point he is unsure as am I (not oil). We go back to the service desk and he says are you going to leave it? I say well I am on my way to work so I was hoping you could look at it while I wait. Without hesitation he says okay. He says have a seat and we'll get right on it.

Thirty minutes later he walks up to me and tells me its the water pump, it needs replacing. I ask if they have one in stock and he states yes they do. He says It'll be done in a little bit. Another half an hour later he says Steve, Steve? (I'm wandering the lot drooling like a dog) I say oh yes. He says "the cashier has your keys and receipt, your all set there is no charge."

I said really? wow that was fast. He says thanks and have a nice day. I was back on the road in 70 minutes.

Now I do not care if you own a Hyundai, Chevy or a Bentley THAT is customer service....

Care to venture a guess at the brand?

(Those who know need to be quiet now)

Happy Monday Boys!!!

They always took good care of their customers, recall on flux capacitor notwithstanding....

Serious guess: DaimlerChrysler. I've been pretty impressed with their shops in the past few years, I'm on my second DC fleet vehicle and we bought a Town&Country (minivan boredom, sorry.....) last year.

My Grandfather sold a DeSoto out from under me. Didn't even give me a chance to buy it. Still haven't forgiven him for that.

Way to go Steve, I have to ask, is it one of these GMC cars?

RECALL# 03034
ENGINE COOLANT LEAKALL 2000-2002 & CERTAIN 2003 CHEVROLET IMPALA, MONTE CARLO; PONTIAC GRAND PRIX, BONNEVILLE; & BUICK REGAL, LESABRE, PARK AVENUE. EQUIPPED WITH 3.8L V6 ENGINE.
Does you GMC have DexCool antifreeze? Rumors of funny stuff going on with it.

I would require from my boss; $200k plus bonus. 5 weeks vacation. An interest in increasing profits.

We have a plant in Shouzhou. I'm good in the States thanks. My Mandarin? The harder I smack 'em the more english they seem to know...JK

That's just mean WFT.

I remember when I was a kid in the stockroom they used come and ask me to go get the steel stretcher. I'd look and look, they'd say no it's over there, over here. Finally they bust out laughing.....along the same lines...

I like going into the parts store asking for spark plugs for my Cummins. 9 times out of 10 I get em' on that. The ones it doesn't fool usually don't work there very long before they get snatched up for a better job.

Like my going to Lowes Home Improvement Dumbhouse yesterday. In the TOOL Department, I was looking for some small plastic spring loaded hand clamps, didn't find any, just the big metal ones. So, I asked the TOOL Department "May I Help You Guy" about them. He couldn't figure out what I was wanting so I went and got a big one and told him I needed some small plastic ones and I asked if they had any. All he said was, "What do you need them for"? I told him, "That's OK, Northern Tool has them and they want the business so they can sponsor a Nextel Cup race car"! They had plenty Jimmie Johnson ceiling fans, toilet paper hangers, autographed garden tools, trash cans, door mats, Official Lowes Motor Speedway Wasp and Hornet Killer and shower curtains, but did they have any small hand clamps, who knows? Drove 5 more miles down the road to Northern Tool and they had 100's for $1.29 each.
Sorry, I had to vent.

As I was leaving Home Depot the other day, another customer was leaving at the same time and he said : " It's a damn good thing Tony Stewart's pit crew dosen't come from this store. He would NEVER be racing."

That's a good one! I'll have to remember that next time I go to a big business that sponsors a big time race team and have problems getting service. They need to spend some of those millions on employee training.
