Soap Buddy (http://www.overtons.com/modperl/overtons/detail/pdetail2.cgi?r=detail_view&item_num=18355). I fill it with Ivory liquid soap.

Just what I was looking for.
I called them and they said they did not have any, so thanks for the link, I have placed the order.

I meant to tell you where to get that this weekend. Oh well, I need some new suction cups for mine now as it is.

I have heard that dish soap dries out the bindings, is anyone else concerned about this? I have the pump in the back of my Maristar and I'm wondering what I should use to re-fill it. Any suggestions?

I use the soap buddy as well, but I could not get the suction cup to stay on my hull. Therefore, I simply bolted it to the hull. Maybe a bit overboard, but I was mad at the suction cup.

My father in law found his soap buddy floating in the lake and as a result, doesn't put it on the transom for rear of losing it like he found it. Mine has held rock solid for over there years.
I don't worry about soap and bindings too much, but dilute mine pretty heavily with water. You can use wire pulling lubircant if you're worried about it. It works pretty well

Yes. I have heard that about dish soap also. So I use shampoo it has a lower ph than dish soap.

I hate soap because it stays slippery to long. I use shaving cream.

Ditto on the shaving cream- the gel stuff is the most slippery. Dissipates much quicker than soap and shouldnt hurt the bindings.

I thought KY jelly might work but I did not want my kids eating it.

We use Moose Juice- works great- very slippery- kids love it because of the name. "Contains no actual moose" always cracks them up. We started the season with a big bottle ($15) I think and have only used about 1/2.

Hey Mess, just curious....Do your kids normally munch on your binding soap?

If they thought it was jelly they might.

I just put mine in the rear cup holders.
The liquid ivory diluted alot is still quite slippery and dissipates quickly. Works well for us. I use a small spray bottle.
