Fuel Gauge out of production?

I have a 1999 X-star .
The dealer here in Edmonton Alberta, says the fuel gauge is no longer available.
HELP.
Can someone tell me where I can get one.
I bought a Faria gauge but it doesn't have the same connections

Are you sure it's the gauge? Most often the problem is with the fuel sending unit at the tank. Just changed mine this summer.
