here's what the footer had to say:
"...it was the craziest step off I’ve ever had. It’s me doing all the tumbles & taking by buddy Dan out. Amazingly I stuck out & made it to the show dock.

The water was a mess & I had switched my stepoff ski from a concave to a flat bottom because someone threw my concave ski away. Needless to say I bailed in the turn but in true 'show' fashion I would not let go! We have 4 different angles of this, the one on the website doesn’t do it justice.

Everyone was fine but sure was sore the next day, I chop blocked Dan & his ski shot towards Glenn which freaked him out. If had bailed my rope would have taken at least 2 guys out because I was on the outside so it was best I try to stick it out. They all figured I was the only one who even had a slight chance of making it in that [crappy] water. "

man, video 2 & 3 shows some crazy stuff! He's a pretty solid footer if he can handle two full contact hits and still stay on his feet in that chop!

Never met him, but I have some buddies that skiied with him in his school and said the same thing. One of those uys in the video is a Colorado transplant and his daughter is also skiing in it. Foot'n babes rule......

I did the same to Phillip Damith years ago. He has won mens 1 bf the last couple of years. I was next to him in a bf line and the fin fell off my stepoff. I thought to myself...I'm a big time ex pro skier....I can do a step of w/o fin...long story short///i came up and the boat gased it and i went hard right and mowed the line down! This was at a regional tourny. Wow did I stink it up(congrats gene)
