On Sunday I pulled the boat out and discovered the Bearing Bath on the left side was leaking all over, it has just a little grease in it now! Can I fix this and how can I get it to the shop? Any advi:confused: se!

I dont want to assume you have an MC trailer, but I have seen this on an 04 mc trailer....

when you remove the wheel and the little chrome decorative center ring, you can see the filler cap for the oil.... Reliable Tool told me this and said 50wt oil is what's run in there

sounds like you lost a seal and you my want to fill it with oil just before your trip to the dealer...

I just flushed mine the other week b/c water had gotten into one of mine too. On mine there are actually 2 fill points. One is closer to the 'window' end, while the other is closer to the hub.

It is really pretty trivial. Just remove the plugs, let it drain, flush multiple times with good clean oil, refill. I've heard 15W40 is the oil in them and a dealer said they use synthetic gear oil to help reduce/prevent water intrusion.

I'm going to try to milk mine to the end of the season.
