I have a sound system w/ infinity amp and tower speakers. One speaker crackles. I replaced the speaker and it still crackles. All connections are sound, any suggestions?

Check all of the connections to make sure they are not contacting metal.

The head unit is the CD player or radio portion of the sound system.

will check the CA cables and connections again.Options are bad cable connections, fried channel in your amplifier, fried channel in your head unit. The head unit is the thing that's in your dash, where you change volume and the other controls.
I would first switch speaker wires, moving the crackling one to the other channel on the amplifier, see if the crackling goes to the other side. If it does, then you know it's not in the speaker or speaker wiring. Then I'd reverse the amp input channels left to right and vice versa. If the crackling goes to the other channel, you have a bad head unit. If it doesn't, you have a bad amp.
