Seems almost too good... I'm not sure you could even buy that lot in Wisconsin/Minnesota for that price.

Doesn't Indy have Champion Lakes or something like that out on the East side? I met the guy that developed that lake at a party in Noblesville a couple of weekends ago. If you find something like that in Indy, let me know.

My parents recently sold their condo on Palm Island in southwest Fla. They did so because they doubled their money. We have no place to go in Florida now as everyone else also doubled their money!:(

There are many private lakes/clubs here in Indy. My only problem is they are very pricey and very small. Avon has an excellent ski lake and there are many opportunities for more. Most are quarry remains but I believe Champion was constructed. I live 3 miles from Champion Lake. On my way to the toilet were I ski I pass right by!:o Doesn't Indy have Champion Lakes or something like that out on the East side? Where/what is the toilet you ski at....Geist?? I used to ski out there. Started skiing as a kid up at Morse behind my dads 14' Chrysler boat with a 110 Merc outboard. By the way, Champion Lakes was man-made. I wouldn't mind moving back to the Indy area some day and getting the he** away from these high taxes in Chicago, AND having a private ski site!

There are a bunch of us here on this site that would join you! We have a ton of land in Liberty but will not work. Could hire an engineer to tell us if some cheap property would support a lake. Water table, bedrock or whatever those guys do! Leroy are we skiing this week? You don't call, write, what is a girl to think? Where/what is the toilet you ski at....Geist?? Looks almost too good to be true, and maybe it is.
It was built in 98 and has a new dimensional roof on it already.
The old one was problbly blown off by on of the huricanes in the lastcouple of years that hit the panhandle.
I think I found the lake/lakes on google maps (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Milton,+FL&ie=UTF8&ll=30.562778,-87.050858&spn=0.030154,0.085144&t=k&om=1).
I wonder if living so close to the coast on a inland lake may be a problem when the storm surge comes in.
Whoever buys better check for flood damage.

But on the other hand, the pine trees look intact for being in a hurricane area.

JR; That is close to nice beaches also! If only around Indy!

Dave; Come on down! I have called the Martin Marrieta quarries couple of times to try to get access to one of the pits but no luck!

HB babby; How about an evening run? I cannot go out in the AM now with my new job.

I'm ready to get out of CA. Thinking of Texas, Indiana, Kentucky anywhere there's a Toyota plant. Any suggestions?
