Sweet, and the LT interior looks a whole lot nicer than the LTZ.

UMP, when a Dark Red Extended LT/ Beige interior/6.0 Litre 2WD comes in, go ahead and send it to New Car Get Ready after it's dropped 3" and start the paperwork!

Sorry to say I'm disappointed in them. Colorado fenders and looks like a Toyota Tundra cab. GM dropped the ball on this one. I'm not even that impressed with the dash. I have always been a die-hard Chevy man, but I'll keep my Ford F-150 thank you very much.:twocents:

ICBS

SteveSorry to disappoint you Steve, but in the last month I have seen two Ford F650 pickups at Lee's Ford. One was set up as a gooseneck and had two custom Choppers or the rear. The other was a black 4x4, custom paint, cruising the main drag at the Somerset cruise in.8p I'll take some pics the next time:rolleyes:

I would have to say that I do not love the looks of the new trucks. But as with most redesigns they seem to always take a little while to grow on you.

All I can say is I am extremely happy with my GMT-900 based Avalanche. The ride handling fit and finish is awsome. If the 'trucks' are improved as much as my AV then the pre '07 trucks are going to feel like dinosaurs.

well I certainly like it

I like the headlight look, the interior & the painted bumpers. Maybe, just maybe, by looking at the autoweek pic, GM decided to go a little higher on ride height being wayy too late to the party with dodge and f'd

Looks like they took the funky radio pod out of the Solstice and shot it into the LTZ.

I think I'm with Brian on this one. Looks like more toy than truck at first glance. GM still cant break free of that jack O lantern looking front end on there trucks:D

thanks for the thread, tones. I think the snout looks more like F'ds big grill look and the interior looks more like a caddy

When everyone else has some nicely styled trucks these days, that sure is an ugly one, and the brown for a glamour shot doesn't help it any. Interior looks nice.

I have to completely agree. Brown does nothing for me, except when you see a UPS sliding down the highway sideways still right side up. That will get your adrenaline going when your sitting in traffic.

I can relate to that statement! Only time I got in a really bad wreck is when a UPS driver decided to run the red light at the top of a steep hill and shoot the intersection. Broadsided me right in the passenger door. Good thing there was 6" of snow on the road, it just sent me flying like a pin ball.

the gm guy who decided on the brown shade is the father of the guy at mc who came up with the crazy X graphics

trouble is, I bet we see millions of that brown color on the road soon???

I saw that sideways UPS truck Wednesday during Dallas evening rush hour. From what I could tell since it was going the other direction, an Accord cut the UPS truck off or clipped him and the truck got sideways at probably 35 mph. Lots of light blue smoke from those tires... I still can't believe that it didn't roll and I can't imagine what the driver was thinking...

The blue crew cab on the Chevy launch site looks pretty nice. http://www.chevrolet.com/silverado/prelaunch/
