Thanks for the offer, but I'm trying to rehabilitate my back. After a week, I was finally able to put my own socks on Saturday.

Have fun! You've got a beautiful day for it!

P.S. Please call me regarding the window decals 847/682-0062.

I am relocating from Virginia to Il and am leaning towards the Geneva, St Charles area. I am blessed enough to have a private lake to ski on and just put the boat up for sale, because I didn't see nearby places to ski. What is the Fox river like? Where else is there to ski near by?

THanks

Lee

Last week I saw where rodltg2 put up a post about west coast ski lakes that he found so I looked to see what Illinois had and found near Willmington at rte.53 and 125 there's a ski lake subdivision with 2 lakes established and it looks like another being started with slalom courses and jump ramp all set up side by side. So this last weekend my wife ,daughter and I drove up to Lisle to see my son and we drove by to see this place. Maybe this is old news to you all up in the Chicago and burbs area but this was a real sharp looking place very nice community. Don't know if this is the type of skiing any of you enjoy or if just you hit the lake and freelance ski. Pretty impressive though, just thought I'd pass it along I will try to find the map were I found this place.

Heres the map http://www.google.com/maphp?hl=en&q=&ie=UTF8&ll=41.323459,-88.128548&spn=0.007751,0.014462&t=k&om=1
The highway to the left is 53 and Wilmington is just out of the map to the south.

One other thing I remember there was the Illinois State Championships or the Midwest Championships held up there in that area last year and I don't know if they were at this site or on the strip mine lakes along I-55north of Braidwood.

CHudson,

I was there for the College Tourney last September. I only live about 20 minutes north of there. Very nice place...the owner/developer has a HUGE house right at the head of the lake.

I'll post some pics for others to see...

I went to St. Charles few times because there was an Arthur Andersen training camp. I only went during winter dates, but it was a nice place.

You guys are lucky to have such a site to ski on regularily. I can only imagine that does wonders for not just ski time, but Quality good water ski time. I'm envious. for sure.

It is definetly public water, everyone is just pretty respectful and it is mostly slalom skier and footer out there on week nights.

So there is a boat ramp at St. Charles for the Fox river? My son lives on Ogden Ave. near Heritage Harley Davidson and St. Charles is real close. I told him I would bring the boat up on a Friday night and we could go early Saturday mornings if there was something near by and that's the closest I've found. Any help would be great, Thanks!!!

Yes, there is a ramp there, only about 2 miles of "safe" water though.

Yea I know I read another post of yours that mentioned that, Thanks. It will be a slow ride around first time just to check the waters out first when we go. Probably will not be till next spring know though but I was wanting to find an access, Thanks alot!!!
