Just got a new front binding to try out this last weekend and I really like it. The ski had the lowest end bindings on it so I would be making quit a step up I think. I am just trin it out to see if I like it or not and so far I do. What do you all think about the ski and/or binding. Good or bad commets welcome.

Oh yeah....somebody please explain this to me. How does each setting effect the ski. I would like to have a general idea before I mess with it.

I have heard that those bindings are very comfortable and haven't heard anyone complain about them.
As for the fin, my opinion is to remove the wing but others will tell you otherwise. Ski it first before changing too many things.

Wow, Connelly FX w/ a front Vision....but toe plate? The Vision bindings are sweet. I would say get the rear for it. Good looking ride.

The front lace up looks similar to the Approach boots. That said, be very careful skiing that with a toe plate. HO doesn't even sell the Approach in a toe plate configuration (only double boot) because the boots will not release in all types of falls. The likelihood of a one foot in, one foot out fall is, therefore, much more likely. Also, do you have the toe plate pivoted? I don't ski with one, so I don't really know much about what pivoting it would do. But it seems to me that you can move your foot around regardless?
As for fin settings, there is a good explanation of it here (http://goode.com/wsfinadj.html).
