Hey all,
We been experiencing some increasing difficulty in shifting to and from forward/reverse in our 205v. I thought it was probably in the throttle/shifter assembly, but checking for tight bends in the cable I notice this (see picture...sorry for the quality). The shift cable was resting against the block/manifold and melted the cable covering. Dealer thinks this probably galled up the running surface the cable glides in and is causing the the difficulty in shifting. New cable on its way.

Just an FYI...

Regards,
Paul

Sorry to see that, hopefully you'll be back on the water in just a few days.

Oh...it's not keeping us off the water...it's just that our right arms are getting a workout! Luckily I balance it out with 12oz curls with my left.
