well i thought i made a great choice on my 66" d3 x5, but i demoed a 65" d3 nomad today and loved it even more. ! what to do? i'm already past my demo period...:confused: anyone in the market for a slightly used x5??:D

I purchased a D3 Nomad this year. Great ski! Haven't seen you out at PP lately. The Reggae Party is August 26. It is quite a party. I was out there last Saturday, from 7 am to 10 am, glass the entire time and did not see one other skier/wakeboarder the entire time. It has been like that most of the summer.

Can you describe the difference you feel between the two? I'm on an X5, but am looking for an excuse to try the Nomad.

the nomad felt faster across the wakes and it felt smoother on my offside turn...

Hey Ryan! I got one at the Nationals! I should get the D3X5(Black and Red one) sometime this week. I met Denny Kidder and his son Kreed (sp?) and I was set up with a great deal...way under $500. My friend that was skiing with me all week dumped her HO System 8 for one too.We are both getting a 66. We won't get to ski them for three weeks:( Oh well, at least the decision/purchasing process is over with. B
