Here in S.E. WI we suddenly cooled off, it's 69F and rain at any time. Weekend only in the 70's! Not so great.

So I am going to complain about that !:(

Water that hot is hated. Our lake temp gets up there if we don't get rain for a week in the summer, but afternoon thunderstorms will cool the water quickly.

Just come visit me on a cold Chicago winter day when at the same time you are enjoying beautiful weather.
I'll take that hot stuff anyday and please don't pull out the bimini for me. ;)

Here Here

You are correct sir, any day. I say that in the summer just so people don't think that it is only a winter thing.

In the south we really don't need them. :D

I will gladly take the 105 degree day over a cold winter day. Fact is here in Texas we can ski either one. The water temp on the river last weekend was 95. It was like bath water until you got the occasional cold water spot. I kept trying to swim with the flow and keep up with the cool water, yeah it didn't work to well.

We had a stretch of 5 days of 90-100 degrees, but it's been in the 80s for awhile now with water temps between 72-82 and it's been glorious. Only downside is that it's been windy making for tight quarters for skiing and foiling in the bay that stays calm for this wind direction. OTOH, mornings and evenings are glass and the skiing after sunset has been spectacular, thanks (unfortunately) to the forest fires in Canada and the Boundary Waters canoe area.

I love this weather. It seems like yesterday that we were complaining about the neverending snow, I think that it was easter break with 6" of snow. I'm not complaining about the heat. I just gotta get on the water.:D

We have been on something like 11 days straight of 100 degree days. Makes it hard on this designated boat driver!

Just got back from 5 days of your blistering central California heat. Camped at Don Pedro Lake. Never sweat so much at night in my whole life. You know its hot when you need 2 bottles of water to make it through the night. Great lake, though. Skied at sunrise most every morning on a sheet of glass. (pics to follow). Made me forget about the heat.

Exactly! I am never as hot as when I go someplace else (like Houston or Don Pedro) that is not prepared to deal with the heat.

111 with 42% humidity here yesterday...you guys from the south will say that is nothing. We aren't used to that kind of humidity here in Northern California. It gets hot, but at least its a 'dry heat'.

Supposed to be hotter today, and we are taking 6 little girls out on the boat for a birthday party...joy.

Was 112 here today (Saturday), and the humidity was definitely higher than usual, but for some reason, I couldn't get my temp gauge off of 118 - and that was in the shade. Would hate to be in Laughlin or Havasu, it is usually even hotter there!

It was a really fun time...not nearly as stressful as I thought it would be. Wish we hadn't picked one of the hottest days of the year to do it...114 was the high on saturday.
